Join Asher for a leap into the adventure of creating your first quilt! 
Two sessions, one week apart, with minimal homework in between. Join us on two consecutive Thursdays (or two consecutive Saturdays) and with minimal materials (only precuts required: One layer cake/42 10" squares, and one charm pack/42 5" squares) of your choice and you will have a head start.
10% discount on materials purchased in store for students. Bring a sewing machine OR tell us ahead of time so we can have a loaner available for you (in case your home machine is super heavy and hard to move), thread, bobbins, and a pair of scissors to trim threads is helpful. If you have an iron, bring it, but we have irons here also.

NOTE: If you are a SUPER BEGINNER and need to know how to use your machine (or any machine), please drop in ahead of class day during business hours for a quick instructional tutorial so you may join the class with minimal frustration.

This quilt is designed to get students used to a consistent 1/4" seam allowance without having to be distracted with the other aspects of quiltmaking. Future classes will be scheduled later to get into cutting and piecing perfectly, Y-seams, curved piecing, applique, borders, machine quilting, and binding. 

When your quilt top is finished, you can rent our longarm to quilt it yourself (batting included) or have us quilt it (with batting) for $100 (either option).
